Am I eligible to vote in Arkansas?
To vote in Arkansas elections, you must:
Be a U.S. citizen
Be a resident of Arkansas
Be 18 years of age or older
When is Arkansas's voter registration deadline?
Your application must be at least on its way to an official voter registration agency no later than 30 days prior to Election Day. The postmark on a mail-in application is considered its submission date. If you have not received your confirmation and Election Day is coming up, call your county clerk's office.
How do I request an absentee ballot in Arkansas?
You may request to have an absentee ballot application sent to you by asking the county clerk where you're registered to vote. You may also download an absentee ballot application.
Absentee ballots are issued to Arkansas voters who:
Are unavoidably absent from your polling site on Election Day
Can't vote due to illness or physical disability
Are serving in the military away from your polling place, or are a dependent family member of such a person
Are an Arkansas resident temporarily living outside the United States
Absentee Ballot Deadlines:
Turning in a ballot in person is due the Friday before the election.
Turning in a ballot by mail is due 7 days before the election.
